Abraham was born on March 6, 1973 and departed on February 22, 2014.

He was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Abe, a graduate of Lake Charles-Boston, attended Florida A&M University and graduated McNeese State University.

Abe is survived by his mother Emily Shorten Hider of Lake Charles, Louisiana; father Abraham (Mary) Conway, Sr. of Lake Charles, Louisiana; stepfather Quincy Hider of Lake Charles, Louisiana; grandmother Augustine Shorten; brothers Brandon (Brandace) Hider of Harvey, Louisiana, and Corey Hider of Blue Bell, Pennslyvania, and brother-from-another-mother Gregory (Lisa) Phillips of Lake Charles, Louisiana; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, god-mothers, god-siblings,co-workers, classmates and friends.

Visitation will be held at Combre Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Final viewing from 11:00 am til time of Service. A Celebration of Life service will be held at St. Paul A.M.E. Church on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Kecia Lewis, officiating. Burial will be at Combre Memorial Park.
