Agnes Y Webb, departed this life on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in her home. She was born in New Orleans, LA in 1915. She was raised in Orange, TX and Elton, LA, however , Lake Charles was her true home all of her adult life. She lived to see 99 Blessed Years.

Agnes was a founding member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church where she was a faithful member for over 70 years. She worked as a housekeeper for over 70 years and worked up until she was 97 years old. She was a former member of the Star of Hope Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter No. 48 and Ruth Court No. 60.

Agnes was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Philomena Young, husband Solomon D. Webb of 41 years, her daughter Evelyn Hunter, Son-In-Law Charles Hunter and granddaughter Debra Hunter. She is survived by her Beloved Granddaughter Diane (Michael) Jackson of Salt Lake City, Utah, 3 great-grandchildren , Charles, Kimberly and Kurtis and 1 great great grandson., Vaughn Jase. Beloved Stepchildren Wray Daniel Smith, Murphy P. Webb, Sr. of Baton Rouge, LA, and Sharon Webb of San Diego, CA. Cousins Gloria (Roy) Sanders and Carol (Lawrence) Pollard, John (Judy) Porche of Lake Charles, LA and sister in law Birdell Webb Kelly of Lake Charles, LA and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am , Monday, April 14, 2014 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lake Charles, LA. The Rev. Father Rojo Antony will officiate at a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be at Combre Memorial Park. Visitation is from 8:30am to 10:45am at Combre Funeral Home.
