Albert, (aka "brother-in-law") Bradley, Jr. was born March 31, 1945, to Henry Henderson, Sr. and Mary Bradley in Monroe, Louisiana. He was the oldest of his parents' two children. Albert had a forever best friend in his younger brother, Henry Henderson, Jr.
On Friday, January 31, 2025, our Lord and Savior saw that Albert was growing weary. HE decided that Albert's work on Earth had been faithfully done. HE took Albert to his eternal resting place in HIS heavenly kingdom.
Albert was a 1963 graduate of Union Central High School, in Columbia, Louisiana and attended Grambling State University in Grambling, Louisiana. He was employed by Citgo Petroleum Corporation where he retired after 35 years of service. He also served his community as a Reserve Deputy Sheriff with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office for 25 years. He enjoyed his lines of work and the men and women with whom he worked. He found great pleasure in playing dominoes, and he truly loved his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.
Albert was a man with a big heart. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Albert loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and family. He was an active member of St. Henry Catholic Church and the Knights of St. Peter Claver, Council, #168. He was vice-president of the Lake Charles non-profit organization, The NFL Road Brothers Organization that helps children during the holiday season and with scholarships.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Henderson, Sr. and Mary Bradley, and his daughter, Andrea Gwenetta Bradley.
Albert leaves behind a family rooted in faith and love. He is survived by his wife, Jocelyn Bradley of Lake Charles, LA; four daughters, Elise Bradley, Tiffany Louis, and Sheena Celestine all of Lake Charles, LA; Marquetta James of Orange, TX; two sons, Shannon (Tenesha) Bradley of Chattanooga, TN; Tyron (Tiffany) Bradley of Crossett, AR; a granddaughter whom he raised, Madison Cormier of Lake Charles, LA; along with 21 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Psalms 100:5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
