Obituary

LAKE CHARLES- Albert Frazier Jr, 86, died at 7:41 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2016, in the local hospital surrounded by his family and loved ones.

Albert Frazier Jr. was born February 6, 1930 in Branch, La to the union of Mr. & Mrs. Albert & Lucille Wilridge Frazier Sr. Albert was baptized at an early age by Rev. A. J. May at Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Branch, La. He later moved to Lake Charles, La., where he joined Christian Baptist Church under the stewardship of Rev. W. C. Clark in 1953, and remained a loyal and faithful member under the leadership of Rev. Edward Alexander Jr. until his demise. Bro. Frazier was a faithful member of the Usher Board for 62 years. He was a truck driver and a Longshoreman for 35 years until he retired.

Albert met the love of his life Matlida Sinegal and on December 25, 1950 they were united in holy matrimony by Rev. Frank Roychester at Maryland Chapel C.M.E. They were blessed to spend 46 years together and through this Union they were blessed with 3 sons and 1 Daughter.

Albert was proceeded in death by his by his parents Albert Frazier Sr. and Lucille Wilridge Frazier. His wife Matilda Sinegal Frazier, Daughter Pearl Frazier Raymond, three sisters JoAnn Vizea, Jane Minix, and Ida Mae Joseph.

Survivors include three sons Joseph (Jeannie) Frazier, Henry Lee (Dana) Frazier, and Dennis Frazier all of Lake Charles, La., one adopted daughter Stacey Frazier of Lake Charles, La., nine Grandchildren, eight-teen Great-Grandchildren, two Great-Great-Grandchildren. one Aunt Agnus Mouton and one Sister-In-Law Mary Lee Jacobs both of Branch, La., one Daughter-In-Law Ida LeBlanc Frazier, one Son-In-Law Kim Charles Raymond both of Lake Charles, La. A host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Service date: December 17, 2016

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, in Christian Baptist Church at the north location 202 N. Franklin Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana 70601. The Rev. Edward Alexander Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park in Lake Charles, La., under the direction of Combre Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Visitation is from 8 a.m. Saturday in the church.
