Albert J. Malveaux (73), of Lake Charles, Louisiana has passed away on February 13, 2023, surrounded with love. Albert was born February 22, 1949, to Ferdinand and Octavia Malveaux.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and being a grandfather. He is known for being a man of few words and loving on his best friend and wife, Brenda. Albert was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. He enjoyed long career as an Infantryman in the United States Army for 23 years 8 months which he would always tell the story of him wanting to be a soldier as far back as he could remember. After retirement from the Army, he became a fan of football and fol1owed both the New Orleans Saints and the Kansas City Chiefs in the spare time from spoiling his grandchildren.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Brenda; two children, Orlando Malveaux and wife Donella Sonnier; Tariq Malveaux and wife Marsha-Gail Plummer; 11 grandchildren, and 1 1 / 2 great grandchildren (one is on the way); two siblings Bernadette and Antonio Malveaux; and numerous nieces and nephews along with his cherished dog Roscoe. He was preceded in death by his parents Ferdinand and Octavia Malveaux; sister, Bernita Garland; brother, David-James; sister-in-law, Pamela Guillory, and brother-in-law, Edward Henderson (Butch).
