Albert "Boy" Stevens Sr. age 74 went to his eternal rest on September 20, 2013 at Christus St. Patrick Hospital here in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was born on March 27, 1939 (1of 12) to Dave and Octavia (Victorian) Stevens in Lacassine, Louisiana. Mr. Stevens was a long time resident of Lake Charles for the past 71 years. He was married to his life long spouse, Nelma (Lavergne) Stevens for the past 52 years. Together they share one son, Albert (Marsha) Stevens Jr. of Moss Bluff, Louisiana.

Mr. Stevens worked all his life as an Auto Collision Technician for the past 60 years and a Newspaper Route Contractor/Auto Repairman for The Lake Charles American Press for the past 35 years. He also worked as a Commissioned Officer for The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff''s Department for the past 30 years.

Mr. Stevens is survived by his three sisters Ruby Guidry, Gladys (John) Singleton and Gloria (Allen Sr.) Leblanc. He also leaves to cherish his memory five Grandchildren Albert Joseph (Patrice) Stevens, Quentin Albert (Tamaya) Stevens, Quincy George (Britney) Stevens, all of Lake Charles and Stefn C. Stevens and Candice C. Stevens of Moss Bluff; five Great Grandchildren; a host of loving Nieces, Nephews, Great & Great-Great Nieces and Nephews; heart-felt Brother and Sister In-laws as well as countless other loving family members and caring friends.

Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers Adam Sr., Allen, and Arnold "Pat" Stevens Sr.; five sisters Helen Lede, Mary Jane Carrier, Willa Mae Kelly, Corine Guillory and Louise Frank. Mr. Stevens was a long life member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for over 52 years as well as a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. The family would like to thank everyone for all of the prayers and condolences.
