Alias Pete, 84 years old, departed this life at the comfort of his godchild home of Lisa Antoine on Friday, Jan.9, 2015 at 10:00pm. He was born to the late Isaiah "Dego" Pete and Lydia Carrier on July 5, 1930 in Lake Charles, La. Alias worked for McNeese State in the farm department for many years until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Houston Pete.

Alias is survived by his brother, Norris Pete, one sister, Fannie "Pete" Williams of Lake Charles, La. Two sons, Eugene Pete of Opelousas, La. Mark Lafanette of Lake Charles, La. Host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandkids and friends. Two god kids, Lisa Antoine of Lake Charles, La. And Mike Pete of Houston, Texas.
