Allen "Tee Pop" Landry, 87 died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at his residence.

He was a native of Opelousas, LA and he lived in Lake Charles for 53 years.  He worked for Gulfgate Marine Construction Co. until his retirement in 1987.

Survivors include his daughter, Lorena (Sidney) Royster of Lake Charlesm LA and daughter Mary Margaret (Russell) Edwards of Corpus Christi, TX and sister Josephine Brown of Opelousas.  He was preceded in death by his wife of many years, Lorena (Thomas) Landry, two daughters Alzena (John) Rachal and Vera (Michael) Berard, father Jerry Landry, Sr., mother Delphine Lemelle, brothers Amos Landry, Nolton Landry, Jerry Landry, Jr., Alvin Landry.

His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24th in Sacred Heart Catholic Church on S. LA Avenue.  The deacon Edward Lavine will officiate.  Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park, under the direction of Combre Funeral Home of Lake Charles.

Visitation is from 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
