Obituary

Allen Trahan, aged 58, of Sulphur, La., passed away on April 7, 2026, at Lake Charles Memorial. Born to Floyd and Martha Trahan on October 25, 1967, Allen lived a life of generosity, selflessness, and joy that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

.Allen was a master pipefitter by trade, a profession he carried out with dedication and skill. His love for his work was only surpassed by his love for the great outdoors. An avid hunter, fisher, and shrimper, Allen found solace in the peace of nature and took great pleasure in sharing his bounty with others. His joy was infectious, his smile big, and his heart larger still. Allen was known for his selflessness and willingness to help others, often going so far as to give his last dollar or even the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

Allen was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Trahan; his mother, Martha Johns; and his grandparents, Levi and Lillie Tilley, and Eva and Clarence Trahan. His spirit lives on in those who loved him most.

He is survived by his loving wife, Denise Trahan, and her children, Rachell and her husband, Robert Hoppaugh, Ray and wife, Sarah Guillory, and David Sunday. 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews, and friends that he considered family. He also leaves behind his brother, Tolton Johns, and his fiancée, Jeri; his sisters, Sissy and her husband Shannon Burnett, Rhonda and her husband Robert McHan, Sara Layton, Tina Thomas; and his stepmother, Goldie Vincent. Each of these family members held a special place in Allen\'s heart, and his love for them shines on in their memories of him.

Allen\'s life was a testament to the power of love, generosity, and the strength of family bonds. His legacy will continue to inspire and guide all those who were fortunate enough to know him. His spirit will be remembered in every fish caught, every game hunted, and every smile shared.

He was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Moss Bluff.

The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. Allen Trahan's life was a blessing, his memory a treasure. He is loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
