Amanda Cheri'' Ledet was born January 21, 1989 to Sandra Faye Goodly and Charles Ledet Sr. in Lake Charles, LA. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Living Word Christian Center. Amanda had one brother, Charles Ledet Jr. She was blessed with two lovely daughters, A''Mya Nicole and Miracle Angelle''.

Amanda was a 2007 graduate of Lake Charles Boston High School. Amanda was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She had a tremendous spirit and loved to laugh. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Amanda loved to sing, dance, and draw in her spare time. She was passionate about music and she used her art as her personal therapy. Amanda had a love for people and enjoyed serving in any way that she was needed.

Amanda was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Ledet ,Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Preston Goodly Sr. along with uncles Bennie Ledet Jr., and Preston Goodly Jr. Amanda was also preceded in death by a son, Adyin Ledet.

She leaves to cherish her memory Charles Ledet Sr., Sandra Goodly, Charles Ledet Jr., and two precious daughters A''Mya Nicole and Miracle Angelle''. Amanda''s uncles and aunts include John Ledet, Sr., Wilford (Marsha) Goodly of Katy, TX, Warren (Druscilla) Green, Tracy Nell Pitre, Leon (Priscilla) Ferguson, Wilda Robinson, Dr. Reverend Roland E. (Lisa) Mouton Jr., all of Lake Charles, LA., Ferral (JoAnn) Goodly of Fayetteville, AR., Murphy Phillip Goodly of Benton, AR., and Terry Goodly, Rosharon, TX. Amanda also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.
