Antee Ledet Dugar was born to the late Joseph & Mary Ledet on January 24, 1934, in Ville Platte, Louisiana. She departed this earthly life on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
Later the family moved to Eunice where she met the love of her Life Joseph Dugar and was married for over 71 years. Three children; Debra, James and Terry Dugar were born from this union.
Ann was a cook at Washington High School and later transferred to Molo Middle School. She worked at many schools as a crossing guard for Calcasieu Sheriff's Department for over 20 years. She also served and took care of many people as a caregiver for many years. She never met a stranger, always friendly and caring. She enjoyed spending time with her family, dancing, watching football and cooking.
Ann is survived by her children, Martin (Susie) Dugar of Lake Charles; Terry (Paulette) Dugar of Houston, Texas; and Debra Simien of Lake Charles, La.; seven grandchildren, Derrick Declouiet, Hope Victorian, Nicholas Citizen, Stacey Dugar, Terry Dugar, Jr., Cherie Zebbs, Jeremy Dugar, ten great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Ledet; her husband, Joseph Lonnie Dugar; her brothers, Joseph Jr. Ledet, Clifford Ledet; her sisters, Anna Mae Ledet and Eyola M. Ledet.
