Anthony Castille, 96, was born to Joseph and Mae Davis Castille in Loreauville, LA on May 31, 1926.
His family moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana when he was a young child, and he remained a native until his passing. Anthony was the oldest of 2 brothers. He enlisted in the Navy and served during World War II from 1944 – 1946.
Anthony met and was united in matrimony to Susie Williams Castille, June 4, 1954. In that union two sons were born, Charles Anthony and Leonard James.
He spent his life as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was employed with Air Liquide (Chemical Company) for 30+ years. He served as a devoted Usher for Sacred Heart Jesus Catholic church over 15years. He was a 50 year member of the Knights of St. Peter Calver #31- and Fourth-Degree Knights Assembly #6. He also, was a member for 65years with the American Legion.
Anthony memories will live in the heart of his Son, Charles Anthony Castille of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Six grandchildren, Leshia Lenna' Castille of Pineville, LA, Leonard Castille Jr. (Crystal), Lamar Castille (Trakessa), Demond and Deroune Landry all of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Kizzie Castille of Spring Castle, Indiana, Eight great -grandchildren Emmanuel, Brayden, Emon, Aaliyah, Jamaine, Sa'Nrya, Laniya, Bentley and Cole.
One Daughter-in- Law, Rhonda Castille, of Spring Castle, IN, One nephew Joseph KIngsberry of Houston, Texas and one Niece Stephanie Easton of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, one godchild Deidra Babineaux and a devoted friend Kathryn Malveaux.
His wife, Susie Castille, son, Leonard Castille Sr., parents ,Joseph and Mae Castille, brother, Charlie Castille, preceded him in death.
