Armond was born August 4, 1933 in St. Louis MO. He was devout Catholic and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. After graduating high school, he entered the United States Air Force and having served twenty-one years he retired to Lake Charles LA in 1971. He attended McNeese State University and worked and retired from CITCO Petroleum. He was a member of the American Legion Post 551. He was also a past member of the National Federation of the Blind. Among his many past times his favorites were playing golf and cooking.
Armond was preceded in death by his loving wife Agnes Loretta Porche Wyatt of fifty-one years, his parents Edward and Mable Wyatt, and his three brother and three sisters.
He is survived by his three children Pamela (Jerome) Simon, John(Jacquie) and Marialisa (Earl) Edwards; and one sister, Rose Marie (Carroll) Little; five grandchildren Rhome, Nina, Adrianna, Jordan and Jalise; 2 great-grandchildren Aria and her soon to be born baby brother; and a host of family and friends.
The visitation and rosary will be held at Combre Funeral Home on Friday, May 25 2012 from 8 am to 11 am.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on Friday May 25, 2012 at 11:30 am.
