Arthur Wesley Thomas Jr.  was born on October 2, 1979, to Bobbie Grant and Arthur Thomas Sr. in Carbondale, IL. His heavenly Father called him home and he transitioned on May 29, 2023 in Lake Charles, La.

Arthur was a faithful, hardworking man. He worked at LauBerge Casino Resort for approximately 10 years in the building and grounds department. He was as attentive son, a devout husband, a proud father, a loving family member, and a loyal friend. Arthur had a heart of gold. He was the life of the party with an infectious laugh that attracted others. Always willing to help others, he made everyone feel important, appreciated, accepted, and loved.

Left to cherish his memories are Brittany young-Thomas (wife), Bobbie Grant (mother), Arthur Thomas sr. (father), Destiny Nealond (stepdaughter), Jocelyn Nealond (stepdaughter), Shawnta Thomas (sister), Andrea Reynolds (sister), and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by John & Jessie Grant (maternal grandparents), and James and Hattie Thomas (paternal Grandparents).
