Audrey Leger Cormier was born in Lawtell, Louisiana, to the late Theodore Leger and Margaret Guilbeaux Leger. She grew up in faith and community, beginning her worship at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas before later moving to Lake Charles, where she became a dedicated member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Left to honor her memories are her children, Michael Cormier and Margaret Evans; her grandchildren, Jamie Cormier (Val), Alex Cormier and Miranda Evans Randle; her great grandchildren, Milan Randle, Amelia Cormier and Ra Benjamin; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Leger and Belle Leger, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who loved her deeply.

Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.
