Mr. August "Tw-ya" Reney was born April 8, 1930 to the late Sam Reney and Agnes Potier Reney in Welsh, Louisiana.

He entered eternal rest on early Tuesday morning on Nov 12, 2013 . He was the beloved brother in a family of nine siblings. In August younger years, he worked as labor for many of years.

August is preceded in death by his mother Agnes Potier Reney and father Sam Reney, Sisters: Agnes Mae Reney Iles, & Mary Reney. Bothers: John, Gilbert, Joseph, Basil, Martin, and Gabriel Reney.

He leaves to Cherish his love and Memory to his brother-in-law Melvin Iles, Sr. and Sister-in-law Ollie Raney and a host of nieces and nephews.

August will truly be missed. He kept us laughing and he loved calling Melvin Iles, Sr. "DADDY" but he called us his cousin till the end. He loved all of his nieces and nephews. He was always a person that would tell us stories.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Service date: November 16, 2013

His funeral will be at 11am Saturday, November 16, in Warren United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is from 9am Saturday in the church.
