Belva Diann Beasley

July 1, 1955 — February 11, 2026

Lake Charles

Belva Diann Beasley was born on July 1, 1955, in Mer Rouge, Louisiana, to the late Hazel Dean Drumgoole and Willie D. Drumgoole. Belva, affectionately known to many as Diann, parted the veil of the flesh, surrounded by family and close friends, on the morning of February 11, 2026.

Belva excelled throughout her formative and early adolescent years, distinguishing herself as both a track star and cheerleader before graduating from W.O. Boston High School in 1973. She continued her education at Grambling State University, where she earned a degree in Secondary Education in 1977. While at Grambling, Belva was introduced to the teachings of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research (IDMR).

Her memory will be lovingly cherished by her family, including her two children, Jullian Beasley and Adrienne Terry (Tabias); three grandchildren, Jacinda Beasley, Haleigh Beasley, and Avery Terry; her siblings, Jacqueline Mallet (Michael) and Roderick Drumgoole (Renate); three nephews, Derrick Mallet, Adam Drumgoole, and Aaron Drumgoole; and one niece, Sonja Fields (Dennis). She also leaves behind her longtime special friend, Arnold C. Batiste, along with a host of extended family members and fellow brethren from the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research.

A genuine mother and sister to a host of friends, Belva treasured every moment spent with family and loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, February 27, 2026 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. in Combre Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 in the gymnasium of Lake Charles College Prep followed by a private burial in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.
