Betty Ann Roberson Chretien was born December 17, 1955 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late Mary Mose and Eddie Roberson.

On November 29, 2013 Betty was called home to her heavenly rest at St. Patrick''s Hospital in Lake Charles.

Betty attended Washington High. She later worked many years as a CNA doing private duty. Betty was a lifelong member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Betty was married to Frank Chretien in 1991 and later divorced.

She enjoyed cooking and nurturing family and friends. She played the mother roll to everyone that knew her. She loved to talk. Betty taught water aerobics at Foreman Reynaud Community Center for many years. She loved her aerobics family. Betty also volunteered for the blood drives for several years. Betty''s favorite hobby was visiting the Goodwill store on a regular basis. Betty''s heart was her grandchildren. Sitting with her grandbaby, Paxton, everyday was her highlight; and she was so looking forward to spending the same quality time with her new grandbaby.

Betty''s memories will always be cherished by her daughters Veronda Nelson (Patrick); Kelly August; grandchildren Kynnedy and Tyler Daniel, Paxton Nelson, Ronald Richard, and Sean Williams. Two sisters Brenda Victorian of Houston, Texas and Barbara Bobbie'' Roberson of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Five brothers Ronald, Jackie June'', Arthur, Appache Roberson, and Chance Fontenot all of Lake Charles, Louisiana; a Special Niece Sadie Roberson, uncle Leonard T-Boy'' Mose, two dogs Julius and Lizzie, a special friend, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
