Betty Jean Jackson Guillory, 59 was called home on Monday, September 8, 2014 in her home.
Betty Jean was born in Lake Charles, La on January 17, 1955 to Ernest and Willie Mae Green Jackson. She attended Washington High School. Betty Jean was formerly employed at Players and Harrah Casinos and Calcasieu Correctional Center.
Memories of a mother''s love will always dwell in the hearts of her daughter, Tatanisha (Nicky) Jackson. The memory of a grandmother''s love will always live in the hearts of her granddaughter Tyshia Jackson, grandson Prentis (P.J.) Jackson and great-grandson, Kai LaRon Jackson. A sister''s love will dwell in the heart of her brothers: Ernest Jackson of Lake Charles, La., Andrew Jackson and James Ross Jackson, both of Alexander, La. Survived also by one aunt; Fleeeta Green Dyson of Augusta, Ga., and two uncles: Frankie (Theresa) Green and Huey Carter. Mama Betty''s love will always dwell in the hearts of two daughters she raised as her own: Tamika Rubin-Bias(Randy) and Shamika Rubin Guillory all of Lake Charles, La. The love of a special family friend will live on the lives of Michelle Citizen and her children; Jamar, Tyree and Leanna Citizen. A treasuring friendship with Debbie Green Scott, Alice LeMelle and Louella Rubin will never be forgotten.
Betty Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Willie Mae Green Jackson, one brother, Earl Jackson, her husband James Daniel Guillory maternal grandparents: Ross and Mattie Green and parental grandparents: Jeffery and Bertha Guillory.
SERVICE INFORMATION
Service date: September 15, 2014
Funeral service will be Monday, September 15, 2014 at 11:00am. Visitation will began at 9:00 am at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church. Pastor Robert Owens officiating and Rev. Carl Joseph Sr. Eulogist. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the directions of Combre Funeral Home.
