Funeral services for Beulah Guillory, 95, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church located at 2031 Opelousas Street in Lake Charles with Deacon Joseph Bushnell officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Friday, February 17, 2012 at Combre Funeral Home located at 1200 Mill Street in Lake Charles, Louisiana from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.  A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Guillory was born July 4, 1916 in the community of Savoy, Louisiana to the late Edmond and Armancia Victorian Guidry.  She died on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at St. Patrick's Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She was a woman of extreme intelligence, integrity and discipline.  Her faith in God sustained her through many hardships.  She was the anchor for her family through her examples of how to live life.  Everyone who knew her also knew that she loved listening and dancing to Zydeco music.  She will always be remembered as an extraordinary mother, grandmother. great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, great aunt and great-great aunt.

Mrs. Guillory was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Guillory, Sr.; daughter, Margaline Guillory; son, Walter Guillory, Jr.; grandson, Charles Christopher Toussand, Sr.; great grandson, Junius Toussand; three brothers, Alex, Eddie and Rene Guidry; four sisters, Rosella Malveaux, Virginia Fruge, Armancia Harmon and Edith Allison, and several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Survivors include three daughters, Betty (Charlie) Toussand of Lake Charles, LA, Millary Doucette of Denver, CO and Martha (William Sands) Guillory of Taos, New Mexico; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
