Bobby Kenneth Pitre, 55, died Monday November 9th 2015 in Lady 0f The Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge.

Bobby was born to Hurist and Yola Pitre on December 11, 1959. In his youth Bobby was an altar boy in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic church for several years. He was a very generous person especially with his brothers and sisters and a very kind and gentle person to all. Bobby loved to engage anyone in conversation on a wide variety of subjects. He was an intellectual. Bobby was also an avid tennis player in his teen years. He was educated in the Lake Charles city school system, graduating from Lake Charles -Boston High School in 1977. He went on to graduate from McNeese State University with a prelaw degree. He subsequently attended and graduated from Southern University Law School. Bobby conducted a private law practice in Lake Charles for twenty years in both civil and criminal law.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Donald Joseph Pitre , and a niece, Donna Elaine Pitre. He is survived by two brothers, Hurist P. Pitre, Jr.(Margaret), Michael Gerard Pitre(Geneva) , two sisters, Dorothy Ethel Porche and Carolyn Marie Pitre, nephews Christopher Allen Pitre, Andre Porche(Ondrea), and Oliver Dean Artiste; nieces Jennifer Ann Pitre , Melanie Rey(Fulgencio), Nicole Piece(Aaron) and Ashley Richardson(Andrew); grand nephews Nicholas Porche,Chaisson Porche, Marques Pitre-Johnson, and Brandon Johnson; and grand nieces Kaitlyn Porche, Madeleine Rey, Isela Rey, Natalia Pulivarti, Rebecca Pitre, and Arynn Piece; six aunts, two uncles, and numerous cousins.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Service date: November 16, 2015

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday November 16, 2015 in Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. The Rev Fr. Richard Adiukwu will officiate. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart of Jesus cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is from 8:30 a.m.to 9:45 a.m. November 16 at the funeral home.
