Obituary

Bonnie Francois Anderson was born January 2, 1952 in Lafayette, LA to the late Willard J. Francois Sr. and Faye Belle Francois. Bonnie attended Washington High School where she participated in the band as a majorette. By attending all class reunions, she was able to stay in touch with her classmates. Bonnie has lived the past 66 years in Lake Charles. She worked many places throughout her life; among her favorites were South Central Bell Phone Company, SWLA Center for Health Services, and the City of Lake Charles Parks and Recreation. She was a member of Old Emmanuel Baptist Church where she sang with the Riley Singers along with the mass choir.

Bonnie's hobbies included spending time with her husband while bowling, watching football and basketball, and talking on the phone with her friends and sisters. She could always be found attending local high school football and basketball games with her husband who was the love of her life. She especially enjoyed the football and basketball games of the Washington Marion High School Charging Indians. She loved perfume and makeup: especially red lipstick. She also loved making lemon pies for her son.

Preceding her in death was her father Willard J. Francois and her brother Ralph Francois. She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Anderson Sr.; her mother Faye Belle Francois of Lake Charles,  LA;  two sons: Charles (Sandra) Anderson Jr. of Richmond TX.; Dammon (Shonna) Anderson of Lake Charles, LA.; two daughters: Stephanie Anderson of Lake Charles, LA.; Demetrice (Xavier) Fennell of Fort Knox, KY.; nine grandchildren: Kiara, Dorian, Jesse, Charmane, Devon, DeKeinen, Kirsten, Kennedy and Tristan; one brother: Willard (Barbara) Francois Jr. of Houston, TX.; five sisters: Wanda (Charlie) Love of LaMarque, TX., Willie Mae Milton of  Dallas, TX., Sandra (Clarence) Green of Lake Charles, LA., Veronica (Larry) Coleman of Evans, GA., and Jacqueline (Charles) Washington of Baton Rouge, LA.; Sister-in-Law Brenda Francois of Lake Charles, LA and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews,  cousins, and friends.
