Borita M. Labbe Jones departed her earthly life on March 6, 2024. She was born in Lafayette, LA on March 12, 1944, to Anthony Labbe and Isabella Porche Labbe.

Sister Borita M. Labbe Jones was baptized when she was a young adult as one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She met the love of her life, Floyd Jones, and married him on October 21, 1963. From their union, four children were born, Stephanie L. Jones, Kevin W. Jones, Brian K. Jones, and Michael T. Jones.

Sister Borita was a homemaker who enjoyed providing childcare services from her home. Several children were cared for and nurtured in her home and grew up to remember her as their caregiver.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Floyd Jones, and her only daughter, Stephanie L. Jones.

She leaves very fond and loving memories with her three sons, Kevin W. Jones, Brian K. Jones, and Michael T. (Regina Guillory) Jones; and her former daughter-in-law, Donna LeDay Jones all of Lake Charles, LA; one sister, Juanita Labbe (Anthony) Kerlegon; two beautiful granddaughters, Brittney J. (Terrence) Williams and Mikayla D. Jones, one handsome grandson, Dillon O. Jones; and one sweet great-granddaughter who melted her heart, Brandyn K. Roberts all of Lake Charles, LA. She also leaves great memories with a host of extended family and friends.
