Carol Bilbo-Anderson is the daughter of Thomas and Joan Bilbo of Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was born in Spokane, Washington. She was a daughter of a military father and so she lived in numerous states and countries. She had six sisters and four brothers.

After graduating from high school, she moved to Denver, Colorado to start her own life's journey, eventually settling in the Fort Worth-Dallas, Texas area. She fell in love and married Rufus Anderson and enjoyed many years together before his passing.

Carol obtained her National Certified Medical Assistant Certification. She moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana in 2008 to be near family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

She had two children, Carla Renee Johnson, and David Lee Bilbo, who preceded her in death. She is survived by several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her church family, all who love her and will miss her dearly.
