Cedrick Rupert

Born November 25, 1952 to Charles & Lillie Mae Rupert of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Cedrick Rupert was the third of three sons. His childhood would lead him towards a love of music that he would develop into a lifelong career. While traveling the country as a musician; Cedrick met and married his wife Lisa Henney Rupert of 37 years. For 57 years Cedrick was a musician; where he performed as a Lead and Rhythm Guitarist, and a song writer. He also had a career as a Software Engineer for Northrop Grumman; where he retired from the Florida location in 2018; thereafter, returning to Lake Charles, LA.

His memories will be treasures to our heart and cherished by his wife Lisa, his brother Dwayne Rupert (Milwaukee Wi) his godchildren, Nathaniel Siverand (Arnaudville La.) Jessica Gormley (Hot springs, Ark). Mother-in-law, Helen Henney.

Cedrick was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lille Mae Rupert, his brothers, Beniston and Everett Rupert. His father-in-law, Joseph Henney Sr. and brother-in-law Joseph Henney Jr.

He has left behind so many that will share his stories, his humor, kindness and love.

Travis Henney, LC, Antoinette Henney, LC, Tiffany Henney, LC, Ronald Henney, Jr (Shericalyn), Maryland, Ashia Arceneaux, GA., Glenda Arceneaux, GA., Devin Griffin (Shania) Metairie, LA.  Kama Griffin, LC., Tony Huey, Baton Rouge, LA., Radiah Hubbert, Elliot Rupert and Anthony Rupert all of Milwaukee, WI.

Special angels to his heart; Devonne Gormley, Zuri Semien,  Eljah Gormley, JaVien Henney, Jadien Henney, Alyah Roberts, Jaila Motley, Aubree Griffin, Nathaniel Siverand III, Aljah Simon, Paisley Siverand, London Griffin, Attucks Semien, Natalie Lede.
