Clarence Arvie Sr. was born Dec 8, 1940, to late Clem and Selina Alfred- Arvie. He was a member of New Covenant Faith Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jimmy Steven's where he served as a deacon. Presently serve under Apostle Wendell Archie Sr and Bishop Leonard Wilson Sr of Refuge Temple Ministries. Bro. Clarence was serving on the Usher Board. He was a Man of God that love to serve God people.

Clarence was a graduate of Ville Platte High and earlier on work for Cash and Carry Grocery, Home Furniture, Knapp Construction, Calcasieu Parish Marshal Office. Later on was a supervisor over a group of workers in shipping at PPG for over 35 years before retiring. Following Crossing Guard for Sheriff Department retired in 2020.

He was proceeded in death by (parents) Clem and Selina Alfred-Arvie, (sisters) Diana Arvie-Broussard and Francis Sypher-Joseph, (brother) Herman Arvie, late (Wife) Rosa Lee Arvie of 53 yrs. (Son) Roy Phillips

He leaves to cherish his memories (Wife) Paulette Theresa Arvie, (Son) Clarence Arvie Jr. (Ita Matos), (Daughters) Cynthia Morgan (Ronald) and Veronica Arvie Lake Charles, Donavon Arvie Houston TX, Shelia Phillips, Kevin Phillips. (Son) John Wiley III (Brenda) (Son)Steven Wiley, (daughter) Lori Freeman (Derrick) Richard Wiley (Patricia) Also siblings Rosa Mary Adams, Bertha Gallien (Darrell) Sherry Arvie (Drucella) Eddie and Raymond all of Lake Charles Louisiana and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
