Clarence Edward Wilson Jr. was born July 7, 1940, in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. Clarence was the only child of the late Sally Mae Carmon and Clarence Edward Wilson Sr. On May 16, 2023, God called him home in a local hospital.
At an early age, Clarence enlisted in the United States Air-force. While stationed at the Chennault Air-force for many years, he made Lake Charles, LA his home. While stationed in Chennault Clarence worked and retired from Firestone Refinery. He gave his life to Christ at Mount Tabor Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Albert
London. Later in life, he became a member of True Light Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Alvin J Noel, 'where he served as a head deacon and a member of the men's choir until he departed life. Clarence enjoyed many things in his life. Most important was family time at Pg's with his daughter and grandkids.
He leaves to cherish his memories, one daughter, Paulette Wilson of Lake Charles, LA; son Clarence E. Wilson III of Houston, Texas; adopted daughter Beatrice Wilson of Lafayette, Louisiana and two adopted sons, Leon Wilson, and Jermaine Wilson both of Lafayette, Louisiana, seven grandchildren; Jacoby Wilson, Brittany Wilson, Shunteri Williams, Shunkea Williams, Dewayne Wilson, and Brian Wilson. three great- grandchildren; Omar "Deuce" Bell II, Brantley Northcross, and Trilaijah Wilson. One godchild; Kimberly London, and a host of relatives and friends.
Clarence was preceded in death by, his parent, Sally Mae Carmon, and Clarence Edward Wilson Sr. his 'on, Derrick Wilson, and grandson Latron Wilson.
