Clever "Cleven" Miller was born to Steven and Beanna Miller (Landry) on November 29, 1955, in Lafayette, Louisiana. He became affectionately known as "Pa-Poe". Soon after his birth, the family relocated to Lake Charles, La., the place he called home. Cleve grew up enjoying sports and social activities with neighborhood friends.

After attending high school at Lake Charles High, he worked various jobs in the areas of building maintenance, construction, and aviation. He also worshipped at the Church of lake Charles and Miracle Deliverance Church over the years. Cleven loved his family; his children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. From his marriage to Quindell DeVille, he was blessed with his daughter Cayla Danielle, son Quinton Cleven, and daughter Chelsen'ea Dametria (Brooks). His years as a father fulfilled Cleven's willingness to provide unconditional love. In later years, he shared his love with his wife Rose Rideau.

Cleven was known for his high-spirited personality and zest for life. He prided himself in living life on his own terms. One of his favorite phrases, "I did it my way," fully embodies the approach he took in good times and in bad times. On the day of November 9, 2022, "Pa-Poe" departed this earthly life. He was surrounded by the love of his family at the time of his transition.

Clever "Cleven" Miller was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Sattisfiel Landry, and his sister Linda Miller Smith. He leaves precious memories of love and life his wife Rose Rideau Miller, his children Cayla Danielle Miller, quinton Cleven Miller (Amber), and Chelsean'ae Damertria Brooks; his sister Brenda Miller Mouton; his grandchildren Darius Bryant, A'Lani Ned, BryLen Miller, Amaya Burks, Moriah Miller, Mason Miller, Ileayanna Thomas, and Jayce Senegal; his godchildren Susan Cook Sanders and Stevendy Mouton King; a host of nieces, nephews, and countless other loving relatives and friends.
