Cynthia (Piggy) Marie Lemelle, 68, transitioned to her heavenly home on April 11,2021.

Cynthia Marie Lemelle was born on June 14, 1952 to the late Thomas and Audrey (Tezano) Lemelle in Lake Charles, LA.

Cynthia graduated from Marion High School in 1970 and after many years in the workforce she retired and went on to graduate from McNeese State University in 2017 at the age of 64. She loved cooking, reading, taking pictures, spending time with family and friends and advocating for cancer awareness. She was a member of a local book club, Bosom Buddies American Cancer Society, Ethel Precht Hope Foundation and several senior clubs.

Preceding her in death were her parents Thomas and Audrey Lemelle; two brothers Anthony Lemelle and Patrick Lemelle.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two brothers, Thomas T. Lemelle (Lek) of Goldsboro, NC and Tony Lemelle (Geraldine) of Lake Charles, LA; one sister, Diane Siverand (joseph) of Lake Charles, LA; one aunt, Mary Fournier of Opelousas, LA; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
