Cynthia Marie Jones Melanson was born on October 22, 1954 to Emily and Andrew Jones.

She transitioned to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, November 11,2020.

Her life revolved around outstanding cooking, making others happy and serving the Lord. Her  favorite hobbies were going to bingo with her sister and adoring her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish precious memories, amazing son Derick D. Melanson Sr., her loving siblings Rose M. Jones and Jerry Jones, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends .
