Daniel J. "Grease" Chretien passed away in a local hospital on 5:26 p.m. on May 4, 2016 at the age of 61.

Daniel was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on December 2, 1954. He graduated from Marion High School in 1973.

He entertained crowds with his love for music as a DJ in the late 80''s and early 90''s. Daniel was a dedicated worker and he is a retired

Longshoreman.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents Hollin and Leona Chretien and his baby sister, Monique Chretien.

Daniel J. "Grease" Chretien is lovingly remembered by his daughters Tanika (Carone) Collins and Danielle (Evan) Chretien-Lambert; He is cherished by four grandchildren, Nyla and Kyla Collins and Brennan and Bostan Lambert; Daniel is survived by three brothers Hollin (Alice) Chretien, Lash (Artie) Chretien, and Jeffery (Linda) Chretien and two sisters Vickie Chretien and Alvisia (Donald) Williams all of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He will be missed by Lisa Chretien, all of his nephews, nieces, aunts, and cousins.

SERVICE INFORMATION

Service date: May 7, 2016

Visitation will be Saturday May 7, 2016 from 9 am to 11:40 am in Combre Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday May 7, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.
