Our beloved son , brot h er , uncle , grandson , cousin , and friend , Darian Wayne Roberson , passed away
une
x pectedl y at the age of 28 on Sunday , May 7 , 2023 . Darian was born in Lake Charles , Louis i ana
on October 24
, 1994 , to Harold and Bridget Fontenot Roberson. Darian was the oldest of two children
and cherished his relationship with Kiani
, his sister. Darian LIVED and made the most of his life. He
served
, sacrificed , supported , taught, accomplished , and so much more . B u t above all his earthly
accomplishments
, Darian LOVED God and made that his top priority . He was christened at Christian
Baptist Church under the ministry of Pastor Edward Alexander and remained faithful unti
I he embarked
upon a new journey with New Life
. His relationship with God was most important and he diligently
sought after the Lord
. Darian was baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with the precious gift of the
Holy Ghost at New Life Apostolic Church
, under the leadership of Pastor Kenneth Hasty , where he
was an active member. Darian PRAYED
. As the Lord called him closer , Darian obeyed the summons.
Darian walked by faith
. He loved attending church and was committed to a life of worship with his
church famil

behind the scenes) on any given project. Darian walked in wisdom and integrity touching many hearts
throughout his life and directing numerous individuals toward the Savior
.

An educator to the end, he was dedicated to a life ' of serving others. Darian's life would seem too short
to many
, but those whose lives were touched by him understood that quality of existence far exceeds
the quantity of time in which one lives
. His love oflife did not come to an end with his transition from
this life because those who knew and loved him will continue to honor his legacy by living their
l ives
to the ful

Darian thrived academically and professionally . He was described as a self - motivated individual who
was both brilliant and industrious
. And that combination worked well for him, coupled with his
warmth
, charm, humor, grace, and talent .

Darian graduated from Alfred M. Barbe High School in 2013 . Following graduation , he went on to
Xavier University of New Orleans where, as a biology major (chemistry minor)
, he earned a Bachelor
of Science degree (cum laude) on May 13, 201
7 . Darian became a member of Alpha Phi Alpha
Fraternity
, Inc. during his final year at Xavier . After graduating with a degree in science , he started his
first job at Sulphur High School as a chemistry teacher
, kickstarting a 6-year teaching career.
Throughout the 2022
- 2023 school year , Darian taught Biology and Introduction to Biomedical Science
at Sulphur High. He received the distinct honor of the LSU Biomedical Sciences STEM Pathways
Teacher Spotlight in October of2022. His love for students and dedication to their success sparked the
need for individualized attention
. Therefore, he founded The Tutoring Clinic, LLC where he provided
af
t er school homework assistance , ACT prep, and private tutoring to countless students . Darian loved
