IOWA, LA - Deloris N. "Dee-Dee" Clark-Walker was born to Willie Clark and Margret Miller on July 30, 1945 in Iowa, LA. Deloris attended public school in Lake Charles, LA and graduated from Washington High School. In 1965, she gave birth to her first child, Sharon Clark. Deloris relocated to Los Angeles, CA in 1967, where she met and married Sam Hartman, Sr. in 1968.

She was a member of New Faith Missionary Baptist Church. She attended church faithfully until her health failed her. She was a member of Sunday school, Mission Choir, Mission Department, Mass Choir, and Trustee Board.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Margret Miller-Marshall and Willie Clark, step-father, Alfred Marshall; her daughter and a son, Sharon Clark and Kinneth Ray Hartman; and one brother, Kenneth Eugene Clark.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her former mate and care provider, Sam Hartman, Sr. of Iowa, LA; her son, Sam Hartman, III of Iowa, LA; two step-children, Shelia Hartman and Anthony Hartman of Los Angeles, CA; one brother, Donald Ray Clark; a special nephew, Gerome Carson of Los Angeles, CA; one grandson, Brandon Clark, and two great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Alayah Clark of Lake Charles, LA; two special cousins, Joyce Ann Singleton of Iowa, LA Cynthia Prudhomme of Sacramento, CA; and one godchild, Whitney Miller of Iowa, LA

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013 at 11:00 AM in New Faith Baptist Church. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Friday in the church.
