Don L. Augustus entered into this earthly life on November 10, 1950 to the late Joe Augustus and Mary Duhon
Augustus. He departed this life on December 9" 2021 at a local hospital. Don was a native resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was a member at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where he served in the Men's Choir for several years. He also was a member and past officer in the Lake Charles Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, INC. Don graduated from McNeese State University with a BS in Business Administration. He worked at Boeing Petroleum Service, INC for several years. He retired from the Calcasieu Parish School Broad. He also coached several teams in the Lake Charles community recreation system, which he loved to do when spending time with Kevonte (grandson) and other kids in the community.

Don leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife of many years Mary Burke Augustus of Lake Charles, La. His
mother Mary Duhon Augustus. His one daughter Morgan Augustus of Harvey, La. His grandchildren; Kevonte Francis, Marlee Monquie Duhon Augustus, Kingston Augustus and Jordan Augustus all of Lake Charles, La. His one brother and wife Joseph and Abrey Augustus of New Orleans, La. His niece Andrea Augustus of New Orleans, LA. And a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Don was proceeding in death by his father Joe Augustus.
