Doritha Lewis Kimbrough died on April 10, 2016 in a local nursing home.On the twenty-first day of January in 1935 a baby was born to Warren andBeaulah Lewis in Sunset, Louisiana whom they named Doritha Lewis. Dorithareceived Christ at an early age. She was married to the late RobertKimbrough. Doritha''s life was full with raising twelve children. Shewas a magnificent mother to her own and many others. Her smile and lovingkindness would light up any room. She never met a stranger. Her doors werealways opened and she welcomed everyone with grace and elegance. Dorithaenjoyed spending time with her entire family and friends.

Her loving memories will always be cherished by her children Betty G.Mitchell of Beaumont, Texas, Rebecca Jones and friend Jimmy Guillory,Lester (Debra) Lewis, the late Johnny (Martha) Lewis, Christopher Lewis,Paula (Clifton, Sr.) Harmon, Clara Lewis, Stella Lewis, Roxanne (Julian)Williams, Beaulah Lewis, Dianne Lewis and friend Richard, all of LakeCharles, Louisiana, and Floyd (NaTascha) Lewis of Germany. She also hadtwo adopted grandchildren Leeose (Phillip) Kinchen and Ali (Parish) Lewis,both of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Her memories will also be carried on byher fifty grandchildren, eighty-five great-grandchildren and eightgreat-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces,nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents;son, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters and threebrothers.

Visitation will be Saturday April 16, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in Combre Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday April 16, 2016 In Combre Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.
