Earl M. DeRuso was born In Lacassine, La. to Willis & Annie [Carrier) DeRuso, He was called to Glory an January 8th, 2021 in his home at the age of 74. Earl was united in marriage to Pamala Joubert of 30 years.

Earl was proud to say he attended school on Cherry St. From there, he furthered his education at Molo middle and Washington High School, where he excelled in football He continued his education at Southern University. During his youth, he was drafted Into the Army, where he proudly fought in the Vietnam War, after fulfilling his patriotic duties, he resided in Lake Charles, La. He found employment at various industry plants before becoming Mill Supervisor at Louisiana millworks, until he retired, He was a member at the VFW and The American Legion-Mayfield-Taylor McClain Post #0551 .

He leaves to treasure his memories: his wife, Pamala DeRuso; daughters, Soncernae Montgomery ~ Rollando DeRuso, eight grandchildren, NaColby, Armonte, and Rollando DeRurso, Christopher and Christen Bushnell, Santanna Kately, Sannieya Frank, & Masiyah Guillory; five great-grand children; and a host of niece's and nephews.
