Earl "Nip" Spain, 79, was born April 5, 1942, to the late Jules and Liza Spain. He departed this life October 16, 2021, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital surrounded by family.
He lived a simple life. He was a farmer by trade. He enjoyed being outside, gardening or just gazing. His favorite sport was baseball, "Go Braves". His favorite shows to watch on TV were old westerns, or "cowboy shows" as he would say.
He accepted Christ and was baptized by Rev. Ulysses Mitchell, Pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church, Ashton, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jules and Liza Spain; two brothers, Jules Spain, Jr. and Alvin "Bo" Spain; and one sister, Marjorie "Dean" Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory five siblings: Virginia Cross, Gloria Mae Milton, Lucille (Ronald) Mitchell, Ivory (Levine) Spain, Lloyd (Mary Louise) Spain and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
