Earnest was a graduate of Ross High School in Crowley, Louisiana where he served on ROTC. He went on to serve our country in the US Air Force for 4 years as an Air Battle Manager and an EMT. He loved to cook and make people laugh.

He is survived by his 3 sisters, Patricia Johnson of Crowley, Louisiana, Christine Daniels of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Janice Johnson of Pontiac, Michigan. Two brothers, Alfred Johnson of Crowley, Louisiana and Kenneth Johnson of Grovetown, Georgia, a godson, Briscon Chevalier of Lafayette, Louisiana and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Evelena Daniels Johnson, 3 brothers, Floyd and Joseph Johnson, and James T. Kelly, one sister, Lorene St. Mary, 2 nephews, Jeremy Daniels and Caleb William. Earnest was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
