Edna was born to the late Sidney Pierfax and Ettie Simien Pierfax on July 10, 1940, in Lake Charles, La. She resided in Lake Charles, La., all her life. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and Washington High School.

Edna worked and retired as a cafeteria aide with the Calcasieu Parish School Board.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, John Lincoln Garrick; one son, Quentin Garrick Sr.; sister, Beverly Pierfax Mearidy; brother, James Pierfax; and sister-in-law, Lewanna White.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, two daughters, Veronica D. Garrick and Tirekia S. Garrick; two sons, Michael Garrick (Rossetta) and Alfred Garrick; two sisters, Carol Pierfax Lewis and Kimberly Pete Orphey (Robert); and one brother, Joseph Sidney Pierfax, all of Lake Charles, La.
