Edna Jones Hardy 90, was called home on Tuesday, March 25,2014 in her residence.She was a native of Lake Charles and a life long member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic High School and a member of numerous organizations such as catholic, military, and civic organizations. For many years, She managed One Hour Martinizing. She met and married the love of her life, Clarence Hardy Sr. for 65 years until his passing. She is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Hardy Sr, parents, Fred and Harriet Jones, sister, Rita Mae and brother, Freddie Jones.

She is survived by her children, Julene Kennedy of Los Angeles,Ca., Clarence (Maureen) Hardy Jr. of Lake Charles, Shelia Hardy (Henry) Maddox of Brighton, CO., sister; Mary Lee Jones and three brothers, Samuel, Mike, and Matthew Jones. 6 grandchildren; Kevin Maddox,Sherice Kidd, Chris Haley, Clarence III, Chad and Craig Hardy; 4 great-grandchildren,also a host of neices, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Her funeral will be at 12 noon, Tuesday, April 1, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of Combre Funeral Home. Visitation is from 9am until 11:45am in Combre Funeral Home on Tuesday, with a ritual from the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary St. Rita Court number 31 starting at 10am followed by a rosary.
