Effie Mae Street was born May 12, 1968 in Lake Charles, La to Homer Comeaux Jr and Dorthy Comeaux, she departed this life on May 5, 2024 at home surrounded by loved ones.

A graduate of Starks High School in 1988 in Starks, La. Attained special recognition for excellence in Private Security Training by Clark College in Lake Charles, La in 1990.

She worked at Delta Downs Racetrack from 1987-1991 moved to Georgia. She was a quiet, soft spoken, strong woman. Loved animals. Her hobbies were reading, listening to music and an aunt to all.

Loving memories will be cherished by her parents Homer (Dorothy) Comeaux. Three brothers: Herman-Tanyna Comeaux, Edward- Lisa Comeaux, Homer Comeaux 3rd, special brother Jimmy Tezeno. Also Her God children that were the kids she said she never got a chance to have, God-daughters:   Gladys Renee (Al) Thomas. God-son Malcom (Bree) Arvie. 7 God-grandkids, 4 God-great grandkids. And host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Street of twenty years. Two sisters Doris Comeaux, Losie Comeaux. Paternal grandparents Homer (Bertha Comeaux) Maternal grandparents Pink (Gladys Thomas) Cane. Great niece- Tia D'nay-Marea Comeaux.
