Ella Sam was born September 19, 1959 in Ville Platte Louisiana and was the daughter of Leroy and Lillie Williams. God called her home August 23, 2018 after bravely fighting, she succumbed to a rare brain disease- Multiple System Atrophy.

Ella worked as a certified nursing assistant for over 30 years and later worked as teacher's aide for special needs children. She was a hard worker and enjoyed caring for her patients and students alike. She also loved attending church and shopping for bargains.

She leaves to cherish her memory, mother (Lillie B Williams), daughter/son in law (Latonia Celestine-Oliver/Thaddeus Olivier) Houston TX, and son/daughter in law (Ishmel Sam/Jackie Sam) Japan. Ella also leaves behind her precious grandchildren (Eliyah Olivier, Isaiah Odell, Leah Olivier, Elijah Sam and Aiyanna Sam). Ella's departure from earth leaves five sisters and four brothers to continue in her legacy, along with an abundance of nieces/nephews and great nieces/nephews.
