Mrs. Plumber departed this life in the early morning hours as she slept July 27, 2014, in St. Patrick Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Washington, La., raised in Ville Platte, La., and moved to Lake Charles, where she met and married her husband of 53 years, Joseph K. Plumber. To this union, five children were born. One preceded her in death, Kelly Joseph Plumber.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving husband, Joseph Kelly Plumber; one son, James Plumber; three daughters, Pricilla (John) Savoy, Diane Williams and Peggy Plumber; 10 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Service date: Aug. 2, 2014

Funeral service for Elnora Green Plumber, 77, will be held Aug. 2 in Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church, 2549 Moeling Street, Lake Charles, La., at 11 a.m. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Pastor Arthur Cullivan will officiate. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.
