Obituary

Emmanuel A. Owusu was born on December 23, 1953, to the late Daniel Owusu and late Agnes Bentumaa in West Africa. At the time of his death, he was a member of Christ Bethel Fellowship Church, pastored by Joshua F. Mitchell, Sr. in Lake Charles, LA.

Emmanuel was proceeded in death by his parents, Daniel Owusu and Agnes Bentumaa, two sons, Marcquis Eddie and Kwaku Owusu, and one brother in love, Phillip Walker.

Emmanuel is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Anita J. Eddie-Owusu of Lake Charles, LA, two sons, Kumi Owusu Nkansah and Larte Owusu Nkansah, both of West Africa, and one daughter, Odurowaa Owusu Nkansah of West Africa, one brother, Daniel Owusu and one sister, Grace Owusu, both of West Africa.

Emmanuel was blessed with a family in Louisiana who loved him dearly and affectionately calling him "Uncle Manny" Two Brothers in love Carl &Minister Robert (Stephanie) Eddie, both of Lake Charles, LA, six sisters in love, Gwenda & Barbarba (Gerald) Eddie. Shelia (Phillip) Walker, Betty (Charles) Collins & Joyce Nash, all of Lake Charles, LA and Monica (Dwayne) Peterson of Station, AL. Eight beautiful grandkids, a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

Emmanuel moved to the home State of his wife, Anita J. Eddie-Owusu, where the couple stayed happily until his impromptu demise on October 27, 2024.
