Ethel Lee Savone, 87, of Lake Charles, LA entered into rest on Sunday, August 10, 2014, in a local hospital. She was born on January 12, 1927 in Youngsville, LA to the late Willie and Rose Parker Lee.

She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where she was a member of Food Ministry, Sunday School Class #13 and Senior Mission Department. She will be dearly missed by her two daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Ethel leaves to cherish her love and precious memory two daughters, Dorothy (Theodore Jr.) Alfred and Linda W. Singleton both of Lake Charles, LA; five granddaughters, Leslie H. Barnes and April (Soren) Lockhart of San Antonio, TX; Marquita L. Williams and Kaylon W. Alfred of Houston, TX and Jakarta D. Alfred of Lake Charles, LA; one grandson, Theodore R. Alfred, III of Lake Charles, LA and one foster son John Kelson of Houston, TX; fourteen great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends (especially Mildred Deville, Doretha Guillory, Delores Stagg of Lake Charles and Josephine Robinson of Houston, TX).

SERVICE INFORMATION

Service date: August 16, 2014

Funeral services will be at 11am Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Elmore Garner will officiate. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre''s Funeral Home. Visitation is from 9am to 11am in the church.
