On Tuesday, July 21, 2020, Eva Thomas, a loving mother of two daughters, passed away at the age of 49. Eva was born in Lake Charles, LA to Ernest Guillory and Janelle Carrier Guillory. She lived her entire life in Lake Charles, LA.

Eva earned both her bachelor and master's degrees from McNeese State University and worked as a teacher and BETA club sponsor at Oak Park Middle School for over fifteen years. She was a very dedicated teacher who loved her students. Eva had a very kind, caring, humble, and compassionate spirit. She loved shopping while seeking out a good bargain. She also treasured the time she spent with her two daughters, family, and close friends.

Preceding Eva in death was her paternal grandparents Elias (Lillian) Guillory and her maternal grandfather, Ernest Carrier. She is survived by her two children MaKayla Thomas and Madison Thomas, both of Lake Charles, LA ; Maternal Grandmother, Verlie Greene; Mother: Janelle Carrier Guillory of Lake Charles, LA; Father: Ernest (Lisa) Guillory of Lake Charles, LA; Two sisters: Shonna (Dammon) Anderson and Elysia Wattley; Two brothers: Joe Harris IV and Elisha Wattley, all of Lake Charles, LA; Three Nieces: Kennedy Anderson, Bethanie Harris, and Marlee Wattley; Six Nephews: Devon Johnson, Malachi Wattley, Mylon Wattley, Mark Wattley, Liam Wattley, and Payton Wattley; Former mother in law who loved her as her own,  Dorothy Thomas of Lake Charles, LA, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
