Evelyn Gobert Milburn

Mrs. Evelyn Cecilia Milburn was born January 9, 1944 in Elizabeth, La. to the late Roosevelt and Cecilia Gallow Gobert. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

She was united in marriage to the late, Ivory Milburn Sr. and to this union six children were born, five sons and one daughter.

Evelyn leaves to cherish her memories her beloved daughter Nichole Milburn Landry (Patrick) of Lafayette, LA; two sons, Bruce Wayne Milburn and Christopher Joseph Milburn both of Lake Charles, LA; three sisters Theresa Gobert Reed of Eunice, LA, Lula Mae Gobert Guillory and Ruth Mae Gobert both of Lake Charles, LA; one brother Chester Gobert of LaMarque, TX. Her beloved grandchildren, DeAndrea, Deon, Angel, Christohper Jr., Justin, Shannon, and Zyir Milburn, Lonnie Doucet, and Daivionna Leon, ten great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sons Michael Gobert, Ivory Milburn Jr. and Benjamin Milburn; three brothers, Jimmie, Joseph, and Octave Gobert, one sister Rose Gobert; one grandchild, Jayceona Milburn.
