Floyd Allen Doucet Sr., was born on July 19, 1954 in Lake Charles, LA to the late Clarence and Mary (Slaughter) Doucet. He gained his wings on January 8, 2018.

He was a 1973 graduate of Washington High School and employed by Northrop Grumman as an Aircraft Inspector.  He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan, enjoyed watching old cowboy movies and Star Trek re-runs, and loved spoiling his grandchildren.

On November 17, 1978, he married the love of his life, Ethel, and from this union they had three beautiful children.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 39 years, Ethel (Nevills) Doucet; one daughter, Tiffany Doucet; and two sons Floyd Doucet, Jr. and Sean Doucet, all of Lake Charles; one sister, Brenda (Adie) Lartigue of Lake Charles; two brothers, Paul (Louella) Doucet of Missouri City, TX, and Charles Doucet of Lake Charles. Six grandchildren; Portia, Paris, and Payge Nevills of Humble, TX; and Madison, Morgan, and Ja'den all of Lake Charles; and one great-grandchild, Kyree. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mary Doucet; his sister Joyce Kaough and his step-son Kirkland Nevills.
