Floyd retired from Louisiana Savings and b e gan working in the restaurant bu s ines s for many year s a s a waiter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph L. Kane , Sr. and Jo s ephine Day and his dau g hter , Stephanie L. Jones .
