George Malone Jr. was born on April 21,1936 in Plaisance, Louisiana to the late George Malone Sr. and Clementine Joubert. George was proceeded in death by his parents George Malone Sr. and Clementine Joubert and two sisters, Ethel Pitre, and Lessie Garland.

George was baptized at an early age in Plaisance, Louisiana. Under the pastoral leadership of H. Arvie and current pastor, Arthur Cullivan, George attended both Mount Olive and Cathederal of Faith for more than fifty years. George was an active member of the church and treasured hearing the word of God proclaimed.

George was a member of Local 207 and worked in the construction industry for more than forty years. George enjoyed gardening and sports, but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

George leaves to cherish his memories a loving caring wife, Margaret Richard Malone; two sons, Donald Malone (Gretchen), and George Malone 111 (Yolawnde); two daughters, Romona Guillory (Greg), and Leona Malone; one brother, Elijah Malone (Winnie); five sisters, Viola Griffin, Lillie James (Clarence), Willie Simien, Rose Stevens, Georgia Dunbar; seven grandchildren, Adrian, Greg Jr,, Martina, Lindsay, Alexis, Chandler, Joshua; and one great grandchild, Amare''.

Services are December 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Cathedral of Faith Baptist church. Visitation December 14, 2013 9:00 AM-11:00 AM. Burial will be in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of Combre Funeral Home.
